“Making art brings delight, pleasure, satisfaction, and sometimes fear or even pain. And at the same time, it is so powerful to take all of those away. Sometimes artists are torn apart by these side effects because dedication outweighs everything. Kristin Siegel-Leicht is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer from Germany. She lives in a small town in the county of Vogtland. Her work is mainly affected by her preference for all kinds of strangenesses and curiosities. She loves to be subtle or hiding something in her work that reveals itself at the second sight. She works in mixed media, mainly gouache and pencil, often combined with digital colouring. Besides painting, Kristin enjoys walking in nature and creating cute GIF animations.
