“This piece was inspired by the practice of underwater meditation. Whether you’re in a pool, the ocean, sensory deprivation tank, or simply in your bathtub, I like to imagine how peaceful it would feel to be floating, serenely, with any stress and anxiety you have leaching and ebbing into the water around you.” – Amber Feng

Amber recently decided to pursue illustration full-time after a lifetime of drawing and painting as a hobbyist. She loves to paint figures in surreal scenes, heavily inspired by a childhood of anime and fantasy. Outside of art, Amber likes to dabble in ceramics and other crafty hobbies, play video and tabletop games, read fantasy novels, and chase her two year old around the house.
