About the Artist:

Klaas Van der Linden cut his teeth in the world of graffiti before embarking on his Graphic Arts studies, which allowed him to explore new techniques. Showing a mastery of volumes and reliefs, the Ghent-based artist operates in a register that is both fantastical and realistic. Between bright colours and dark backgrounds, his works comes across like an interplay of glowing contrasts. The artist is constantly pushing the boundaries of his imagination by drawing on the distribution of light and shade to bring to life off-kilter yet minutely fashioned works of art.
