WOW x WOW Gallery proudly presents Ultra Wonder.
We are born with a sense of wonder. Young children constantly live in a state of natural curiosity and amazement at the world around them. However, during the act of growing up, we gain knowledge, engage in social learning, and succumb to the expectations of adulthood, all of which in their own ways diminish our ability to experience the wide-eyed state of wonder we did in our early years. The experience of wonder is often said to be at the origin of acts of creativity, and so as artists, many of us seek to tap into the amplified feelings of awe and fascination that opened so many doors of possibility for our younger imaginations. For this month’s exhibition, we welcome you all to join us in celebration of seeing the world through fresh eyes as we enter the marvellous realm of ‘Ultra Wonder’.
