I’ve been deep into working on my novel Bifrost again and had to paint my queen Solniste, the mother of the main protagonist, who bound by her cage for a thousand years finally had something worth escaping for.

With over 10 years of professional freelance and illustration training, Jeff strives to show the evolution of the art whether it’s broken scratchy lines or a paint splatter gone wrong and focuses on finding story and emotion in texture as well as experimentation with medium and shape. When he’s not working, hanging out with his wife and daughters, or three dogs, Jeff is making music, building something, or writing and illustrating his first novel, Bifröst, a fantasy story fifteen years in the making.
