“This piece was inspired in part by the title of this group show, but also as a continued exploration into creating my own variations on mythological creatures. In this particular piece, I painted my version of Marchosias, who is said to be a wolf with wings and a serpent’s tail, spewing fire from his/ her mouth.” – Brendon Flynn

Brendon Flynn is an Illustrator and fine artist from Syracuse, NY. His life and art is inspired by, but not limited to: science, mythology, nature, monsters, the nature of monsters and quality footwear. He received his BFA in illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Brendon creates album cover and poster art for heavy metal and rock bands while spreading his questionable influence on gallery walls from coast to coast.
