“Areito Supreme is about Dominican culture and folklore. The word ‘Areito’ means dance or a type of dance that were performed by the ancient Taínos (Dominican indigenous) to their gods but also just for fun. The visual represent a Zemi (ancient god statue) I imagine this deity as a god of parties, which will grant you anything you desire if you perform the right rhythm and dance.” – Madkobra

Pedro Josue Carvajal is a Dominican artist (Latin America) and was born September first of 1983, he made few studies in the National art academy in 2003 which helps him develop his love for visual art, he later started designing in advertising agencies in 2008 but, it wasn’t until 2010 that Pedro created Madkobra which was inspired by the names of Madmax & Cobra the space pirate, Madkobra is based in Dominican Republic and has become a full time freelance artist recently (March 2019) and now specializes in create his own vision of different realities he explores, sometimes very personal and sometimes influenced by pop culture, Madkobra is very nostalgic and love retro gaming, the unknown and of course fantasy and science fiction.
