About the Artwork:
“This piece was inspired by the original 1818 novel “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelly. Dr. Frankenstein is first confronted by his creation during a misty cold morning on a mountain top. With silent disdain and contempt, the monster’s first words to his maker were, “All men hate the wretched; how then must I be hated, who am miserable beyond all living things!” Like a ghost he lives in the shadow of mankind.” – Ashly Lovett
