“Most of my pieces are a reflection of what I’ve been feeling, and usually negative or complicated feelings are the ones that inspire me the most, because in a way I’m trying to process and understand them, give them a shape and a face.

This piece is just about crying after feeling overwhelmed. I also like to think that the flowers in the body represent growth and hopefulness.” – Carxlina Salas
