“I like to think of the whimsy characters that I paint, as spirits from other realms, in search of an artist that would represent them in this realm.
Usually, while I paint them, I get a feeling about their character and personality. In this case, I got the sense that this was about our planet Earth, How unique and magical it is, and how much I feel for her. She is our mother and our only home, I just wish we were more caring to her, She gives us everything, and all that she gives I consider to be a work of magic, something of the miraculous.” – Alejandra Caballero
