About the Artwork:
“I come from a familial line of quilt makers. I haven’t made a quilt myself that wasn’t in a painting, but even then, it’s a methodical process that lets your mind wonder a bit, once you’re in the flow of things. You start to tell yourself stories about where your quilting came from and who will be slumbering under the quilt, and what they will dream of. It’s a practice that brings past and future and daydreams and nights vision together, like the pieces of fabric that come together to make a quilt.” – Tripper Dungan
