About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

Theo Ellsworth is a self-taught artist living in Montana. His woodcut fine art has been shown internationally. His published graphic novels include, Secret Life (with author Jeff VanderMeer), Capacity, An Exorcism, and The Understanding Monster. The New York Times once called his work, “Imagination at firehouse intensity”. He is the house artist for the London based record label, Astral Industries. He has been the recipient of the Lynd Ward Honor book Prize and an Artist Innovation award.

His work has been featured in Best American Comics, NOW (the new comics anthology), S! (The Baltic Comics Magazine), Wonderbook, The Stranger, and The Graphic Canon. He loves creative collaboration, cooking and making family folk art with his kids. He is constantly making invisible performance art in his head that no one will ever see.
