About the Artwork:
“The Green Sea turtle is one of the most magical creatures in the world, and they are sadly endangered. Although the Tufted puffin is not endangered, they are decreasing in areas where they were once abundant. These two characters are attempting to escape what seems to be the inevitable; the disappearance of two magical species. The title of the piece, “Foreign Roads” is intended to be a sort of question; how can we work together to protect these two lovely creatures in a way that has never been done before, leading them to escape extinction down a different path?” – Juliet Schreckinger
