About the Artwork:
“This painting was all about having a bit of fun. Thanks to Jane Austen, often when we see a portrait of a man in Regency wear we associate them as a romantic character. My thought was, would we still feel that way if the portrait was of American’s largest rodent, the beaver? After completely this piece, I think the obvious answer is yes.” – Cassandra Kim
