About the Artwork:

This piece represents that mix of strength and softness we carry, especially as women, and even more so as mothers. The weight of care, protection, and love, all while trying to keep a sense of who we are. There’s something about the idea of a queen bee: always working, always watching over others , and that felt so familiar. But there’s also tenderness, a bit of uncertainty. This painting holds a lot of those quiet, complex feelings I don’t always have words for. – Olga Furman

About the Artist:

Olga Furman is a Russian-American portrait artist known for bringing emotion, storytelling, and symbolism into her work. She often explores themes of identity, motherhood, and transformation. Her art is inspired by the Old Masters, fashion, and nature.

Olga’s path to becoming an artist was shaped by early exposure to art through her mother, a fashion outerwear designer.
