About the Artist:
Olga Furman is a Russian-American portrait artist known for bringing emotion, storytelling, and symbolism into her work. She often explores themes of identity, motherhood, and transformation. Her art is inspired by the Old Masters, fashion, and nature.
Olga’s path to becoming an artist was shaped by early exposure to art through her mother, a fashion outerwear designer. Although she wasn’t always encouraged to pursue art, the creative influence remained strong and ultimately led her to a professional career. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across the U.S. and is included in private collections worldwide.
Her achievements include: First Prize in the CE Juried Exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts; Selection in the Portrait Society of America’s “Select 50”; Winner of “The Next Original” competition by the Kessler Collection and more.
In her free time, Olga enjoys hiking, foraging, and discovering new places. Nature is a constant source of inspiration, often influencing her color palettes and themes.
