About the Artwork:
“Intended to be a spooky-aquarium horror scene, this piece was created to be half-humorous. I wanted to create a character who had similar face qualities to a fish – gaping mouth, completely open eyes – which makes her look terrified – along with the fact her head is split open, and mirror the same “cut up” look with the fish in the center. I love drawing very symmetrical, beautiful and twisted-looking scenes like this. It was very fun to draw.” – Eva Redamonti
