About the Artwork:
“Feeders delivers a quiet, yet curious scene, where a dense, overwhelming force of creatures engulf a sterile environment of dead foliage — seemingly unable to be stimulated by rainfall. The conglomeration of darting, timid eyes evoke an air of innocence as they envelop the land, begging to be either feared or empathized with. Feeders presents an external scene that playfully suggests cyclical internal conflicts.” – Lauren Genovese

Lauren Genovese (b. 1995, Westchester, NY) is a Baltimore-based artist and illustrator. She is a recent graduate of the Maryland Institute College Of Art, where she earned her BFA in painting with a concentration in illustration.
