The piece explores the nature of modern day communication through the use of exaggerated emoji-like objects nestled among a run-down abandoned building. Hi! I’m Jenna Andersen. I am an artist, illustrator, and designer who graduated from VCU with a BFA in Communication Arts in May 2015. I have shown my work in such galleries as Helikon Gallery, Light Grey Art Lab, Gallery 5, PONSHOP, The Anderson Gallery, and This Century Art Gallery.
