About the Artwork:
“This piece and ‘The Island’ show the same place, only from different perspectives.
Cosmic rays let strange things happen there and mysterious beings populate the island.

About the Artist:
(Artist Bio)
Andreas Nagel (born 1988) is a painter living and working in Brühl, Germany.
His paintings are figurative, and range from simple portraiture to powerful landscapes. It incorporates social, psychological, and mystical themes, usually infused with a dark sense of humor. Distorted figures and szenerie, separate the Artworks from the photographic ideal, creating a deeply personal reality. His work is uncomprimising, twisted and offbeat.
