About the Artwork:

“Lately I have been preoccupied with the feelings of waiting for new life and change. It is that strange space between what was and what is to be. Life often throws us challenges and we choose how to respond. This piece is my representation of the feelings of awe and radical self acceptance in the face of difficulty, grief, and mundane periods of life. That even in the midst of difficulty we can find awe, joy and strength to meet life with our full selves.” – Scott Mills
