About the Artwork:
“I am inspired by mystery because it comes in many forms. When I see something as ordinary as a tree, an old house or an open landscape, my imagination becomes overrun with ideas and my mind begins to wander. What if there was a monster roaming the fields, a vague stranger walking through the night or a beam of light shooting from a house.
I like to drive on unlit roads using the headlights as my navigation, guiding me through the night with the intrigue of what might be around the bend. Ideas tend to come to me when everything is still and quiet. Something about the shadows and the silence always gets my imagination going.” – James Lipnickas
