“When I thought of the title to the show ‘Familiar Strangers’, I thought of the constant journey of self discovery we’re all on,
often being in one place physically and off away somewhere mentally. I wanted to portray one figure moving through two scenes,
whole but at the same time detached.” – James Thistlethwaite
