About the Artwork:
“I jumped off the sky title of this show to invent an emotional equivalence between clouds and subject. ‘Thunderhead’ could apply to either the intense clouds in the background or the internal workings of the subject moving through the landscape. The intense color and exaggerated form push this even further.” – Kelly Vivanco
