About the Artwork:

The Key series continues with the first bird key of 2025. In this piece, a bird perches on a key, clutching a smaller one in its beak, which key truly unlocks the lock? This series explores the connection between our inner selves and the natural world, using birds and keys as symbols of discovery, intuition, and transformation.

About the Artist:

(Artist Bio)

I was born in Italy, surrounded by art and artists. My house was basically an atelier, full of paint, colours and canvases. Growing up, I tried many forms of art but I avoided drawing for all my teenage years. Later on, while studying Drama and Foreign Literatures, I found myself scribbling so much that I felt the urge to learn how to draw. I immediately fell in love, the form of art that I avoided for so long was my soulmate. I love to create dreamlike and surreal atmospheres, to tell a story, one that can be different for everyone observing, because what makes life so interesting to me is the subjectivity of the human experience.
