Carolyn Wong is an illustrator and mural artist based in Vancouver, Canada and has collaborated on design projects with national institutions, local municipalities, and small businesses.
As a first generation Chinese-Canadian, her work is a reflection of both eastern and western influences. Her current body of work explores the unexpressed emotional landscapes of the inner life and draws on nostalgic themes from her childhood and cultural heritage. Her art style is reminiscent of traditional Chinese papercut design combined with the delicate nature of watercolour and ink painting.
