About the Artwork:
“In my area, we have feral peacocks running about in some of the neighborhoods. While running errands one day, I saw a peacock loitering around in a nearby cementery and took a photo immediately for later use as reference. I loved the juxtaposition of this beautiful creature surrounded by grave markers and tombstones, and I started sketching out ideas for what became Beauty in Death.” – Andrew Sides
