About the artwork:
“This inked piece took on a mind of its own. I had planned a completely different piece for this show, but rather than getting my paints out, my brain begged to do some good ol’ linework. I obliged. What began as a person’s head within a blooming flower became somewhat of a sensual drawing, the space between a person and their partner(s) and the witnessing that happens amongst them during euphoric moments. I have to admit that I am blushing writing this, simply because I have always been a bit shy when it comes to speaking about anything remotely sexual, but here I am, perhaps trying to take my power back from my upbringing. Thanks, always, for viewing and giving me space to share my creations.” – Nadia Rausa
