About the Artwork:

“As the climate change crisis seems to deepen day by day I find myself thinking of our role in all of this and of how our actions are very much linked to everything that’s happening to our planet. This piece was inspired by the concept of teleconnections and the fact that what we do as individuals matters even if it doesn’t seem like it. Perhaps if we were more open to the idea that we are all connected to each other and to our environment we could develop more empathy towards our world and be more conscious of our choices, behaviors and the way they will have profound repercussions for our not so distant future.” – Diego Peñuela
