“When I first thought of intertwined I didn’t think of this. I had Ideas involving full figures interacting with one another. It wasn’t till I collected the reference and started just looking at the hands that I realized the essence of the idea was there it a far more understandable and relatable way. This was the study that came out of that realization.“ – James Thistlethwaite

James Thistlethwaite is a British artist and Street artist currently living in California working with pencil and other dry mediums. Thistlethwaite worked with artists such as Kehinde Wiley, world renowned street artist Ben Eine and Kent Twitchell. Before moving into the fine arts Thistlethwaite worked in freelance illustration, for clients such as the NYTimes, Red Bull and music and fashion impresarios.
