(Artist Bio)

Brett Herman was born in Boulder county, Colorado and currently resides in Calabasas, California. He grew up drawing animals out of magazines and stayed involved in music and arts for the majority of his childhood. In his high school days he won a New York Scholastic art award, Shortly thereafter he attended a summer course at the Denver institute of art but was unsatisfied to find out it meant sitting behind a computer and not pushing paint at an atelier, he packed up his bags and headed to California to play heavy metal music and found himself in a tattoo apprenticeship. He is now a multi-award winning artist and involved in the art world in many unique ways. He’s had the pleasure of contributing his artistic creations to the fine art world with numerous styles of acrylic paintings and illustrations varying between animal art, surrealism, abstract & dark art. Brett Herman has curated multiple art shows and has exhibited works in over 75 art shows throughout some of the best galleries in the world. He created three published art books, The Coloring Book Project, The Coloring Book Project 2 and Sketched Out and has also been published in many other art books, art magazines as well as co-authoring a few articles for various magazines. He is grateful for getting to know so many wonderful people inside and outside of these industries and is honored to have collectors of his art worldwide. He appreciates everyone that supports his craft..as it helps him feed his squirrels, purchase dark art and keeps him fitted in the most epic metal apparel.
