About the Artwork:

BLINK depicts the image of a person wearing a multi faced mask, inspired by West African artistry. The piece is shatered, not as a reflection, but as dimension spliting/severing. This references a state of interconnectedness and varied dimension. It is about meditation and the space in which we become broken and un-broken, making room for new discoveries. The excessiveness of society can be daunting and it is in the breaking and unbreaking that we remember our connections with soul, ancestors and community.

This artwork was made as a part of the ‘Gilded Suns’ collection.
