“I juxtaposed two deer fawns with lilies that are jumping in a dance-like pose. I admire the graceful poses of deer as they run or jump in the air which I have emphasised here but adding some surreal elements.” – Caitlin Rose Davis

Caitlin Rose Davis is a surrealist graphite artist and painter. She enjoys working on a small scale that explores the concepts of juxtaposing familiar elements of nature and animals into surreal depictions of the strange and unfamiliar. Often her work is a blend of dark and yet whimsical characteristics giving her the artist pseudonym Strangely Rose. Caitlin currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
