About the Artwork:
“This image was inspired by the creation myths from the Desana culture in Colombia. It is said that the mother of creation gave birth to humanity and all the creatures of the world from within the waters of the rivers; I wanted to reflect on that concept and to convey the idea of water as a sacred element and place where life comes from, an element we should protect and why not, venerate as it is essential to our existence.” – Diego Peñuela
