About the Artist:

Veronica Jaeger is a Venezuelan born artist living in the US since the year 2000. Her work depicts playful metaphorical scenarios and characters as a particular interpretation of life and its transcendental meaning, where she incorporates imaginary and unexpected characters as anthropomorphic animals, houses, or toys, combined with elements of nature.
Her work has been recognized in solo and group exhibitions nationally and abroad, with the inclusion of awards, grants, and publications. Among those recognitions are: a grant from the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture in 2008; the Lenore Segan Award by the Joyce Dutka Arts Foundation in New York City in 2009; a first prize award in 2018 by the National Association of Women Artists at the Coral Springs Museum of Art; and numerous exhibitions and speaking engagements.
She currently lives in Mission, TX , USA where she maintains her studio practice.
