Deep into the brightness peering, long he stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams that were brimming with wasted woe;
But the silence soon was broken, an urge was fast awoken,
And the only word there spoken was the greeting word, “ EH OH ”
This he blurted, and an echo murmured back the word, “ EH OH ”—
Merely this and nothing more

C.M. Duffy lives and works in Toronto, Canada. His paintings are hanging in private collections and he has additionally accomplished many public works in his city. In 2021 he worked with the Department of Canadian Heritage to bring a large installation of his art to both Ottawa’s Confederation Park and Frankfurt, Germany to celebrate Canada’s Guest of Honour status in the Frankfurt Book Fair.
