‘Solanum Corda’ is the heart of a scorched land. Fiery clouds spread over a full ground, while some life has the audacity to ripen on the vine. Furthering the exploration of concepts of temporality, and survivalism within moments of devastation, she is a beacon of euphoria amongst catastrophe.

Olivia Di Gregorio is a painter based in Toronto, featuring mythical figures in dream-like landscapes throughout her work. Her images look to mythology for inspiration, with fairies and elements of magic to explain a healing shift from one state into another as a form of visual escapism and survivalism. Olivia was selected as a finalist in the Beautiful Bizarre Magazine Art Prize in the traditional art category for 2021, and has since exhibited her paintings internationally, published in Booooooom’s ‘Tomorrow’s Talent Vol. II’ curated art book, and featured in Supersonic Art.
