About the Artwork:

Snow Globe began with the idea of a miniaturized world as suggested by the show’s theme. While sketching out possible ideas I began playing with the contrast of warm oranges against cool blues, which led to the puzzling contradiction of a warm snow globe. Imagining a scenario to explain this paradox quickly brought to mind contemporary concerns about climate change, resulting in an encapsulated environment that is no longer protected from outside influence.” – Brian Britigan
