Yuriko Shirou, Mexican self-taught illustrator, is currently continuing her university studies in Plastic Arts. His professional work has dabbled in the drawing Manga, American Comic and Figurative Art. She has made several national and international projects for various publishers such as Oz Editorial, Rittenhouse Archives, Cryptozoic Entretainment, The Guide Artists Magazine, Okaasan Books, Braiiinz! Publishing, Perna Studios, among others; where artbooks, book / magazine covers and more than fifteen sets of collectible cards stand out.
She has participated in national and international art and illustration exhibitions, including her first solo exhibition outside of Mexico, The Dark Room, under the curatorship of Haven Gallery in Northport, New York / 2019 and Creators of Legends / Tribute to Hans Ruedi Giger; Surface Art, Mexico – Switzerland / 2016-2018.
In his country he has held workshops and conferences focused on the Enlightenment, as well as a large number of commissioned works of an international nature. She was part of the qualifying jury in a call for painting and drawing for the art brand Rodin Mexico, 2018.
