About the Artwork:
“REFUGE is about that place inside our minds where we go when we need to compose ourselves and take shelter from the noise of everyday life. This place is beyond anyone’s judgement. It is a deeply private expression of momentary serenity.
I wanted to create a piece where there are a lot of fine details within a small canvass. These details invite the eye to look closer and get lost within the small landscape and in effect seemingly takes the viewer inside the world of the artwork.” – Mark Constantine Inducil
