About the Artwork:
“I’ve really enjoyed working on the other small animal paintings I’ve done for shows at WOW x WOW and thought a grizzly would be a fun challenge. I love bears and I hadn’t painted one in a while. Also, the symbolism seems pretty spot-on for this moment in time. In the Spring, bears come out of hibernation, and it feels like a lot of us are coming out of hibernation right now as well.” – Johannah O’Donnell
