About the Artwork:
“‘Endangered Species’ comes from the phrase “too weird to live, and too rare to die”, and is a reflection on the endangered species of animals. I started thinking about the human species that have become extinct, like the myth of Atlantis. I imagine this girl hiding in the depths of the sea.” – P54
About the Artist:
P54 is an Italian artist born in 1981 in Parma. He obtained a degree in graphic design in 2000, he currently lives and works in Parma as a graphic designer and Illustrator in the world of fashion.
The work of P54 focuses on symbolism and narration. The soul, the finitude of human beings, death, loneliness, time… Are some of the subjects the artist addresses, obsessed by the living and its lack of determination. Thrown in a world in which we have no control, destined to build a life.
