Lauren Elizabeth Lee (aka Byloelee) is a designer and illustrator living in New York City. During the day, she is an art director for a beauty company. At night, she tells the story of an unnamed heroine that undergoes fantastic hardships and adventures. Her pieces explore emotions and the complex worlds we have inside ourselves. Her characters never have faces; they are anonymous people whose identity is not defined by beauty nor notoriety but curiosity and self-exploration in its purest form. In this way, she hopes that anybody will be able to relate to her characters and the stories they live.
