Garis Edelweiss was born in Pasuruan Indonesia in 1984.
Garis is a self-taught artist who trained himself to draw detailed and delicate lines layer by layer until they form shapes and objects, mostly in a black and white surrealist style. Having begun his career in 2012, Garis now actively participates in exhibitions, creating drawings in which he pays attention to the innumerable lines of the object’s surface, such as feathers, leaves, plants, wood or other nature inspired objects.
