“My ink work comes from a stream of consciousness approach to drawing. Before starting this particular piece, I had a loose subject in mind. As I move my brush pen through the blank space of the paper, certain shapes and ideas begin to emerge. The title Sandman felt appropriate for this one, because the image feels dream-like.” – Jackson Dryden
