About the Artwork:
“The song of Orpheus, stilled for a moment in sorrow. Shades drift around him, drawn by the music of his voice and harp, but still he cannot see or touch the one he weeps and sings for, his beloved Eurydice.
Artwork is drawn on Pergamenata, an Italian cellulose art paper which closely imitates the translucency, rigidity, and surface of traditional calfskin vellum. As it is translucent, it is mounted on the same shade of archival matboard that frames it.” – Kaysha Siemens
