(Artist Bio)

Andrew K. Currey’s work explores our understanding of vulnerability, its display, concealment, and acceptance on a cultural level. This series of work depicts small battle scenes and depictions of conflict that illustrate the elaborate, theatrical dramatization of daily struggles and internal anxieties, while highlighting the beauty of confronting the calamity as an act of heroism.
