About the Artwork:

“The new 6th Street bridge in downtown Los Angeles, also known as the “Ribbon of Light”, looks like a massive cat toy to me, a crazy cat person. What giant kitten could resist its allure? The bridge’s wavey design juxtaposed against the city backdrop reminds me of traditional Asian landscape paintings I’ve always admired, hence the Chinese ink medium on paper.” – Wayne Chang
