About the Artist:
(Artist Bio)
Katharina Ortner is an artist and graphic designer based in Germany. She loves to create ever new shapes inspired by the beautiful and sometimes bizzare forms of nature. Her art is deeply influenced by music, japanese pop culture and the old masters of Art Nouveau. She conjures up images living in the borderland between reality and dream, mostly calm, sometimes sad. In her artwork you will find beings in a trance-like state, maybe just awakening or still in a deep sleep, but all inviting you to follow them into their realm outside of reality.
