About the Artist:

Yuriko Shirou; Self-taught Mexican illustrator, with a particular interest in traditional mixed media. Her professional work has dabbled in Manga drawing, American Comics and figurative art. She always addresses the melancholic and sinister theme, a taste that is born from literature and horror movies.
She has carried out various international editorial projects, including book and magazine covers, artbooks, coloring books and magazines. As well as her participation of her in more than twenty sets of trading cards.
Her work by her has been featured in various international art galleries, participating in more than a dozen group shows and four solo shows, highlighting ‘The Dark Room’ and ‘Addictions’ at Haven Gallery in Northport New York.
